We're really excited to tell you that over the past 6 months we've been working to expand our accommodation and facilities to bring you an even better experience when you come to stay at the Traquair Arms Hotel. In early 2021 we'll be opening the following:
New self-catering cottages
Three new self-catering cottages to join the existing 3 that we already have, taking our self-catering capacity up to 30. Two of the cottages will sleep 4 people, whilst the other one sleeps 6 people. All are semi-open plan with well-equipped kitchens and comfy living spaces. The biggest of the three has a full bathroom downstairs and a small en-suite in the master bedroom. We're hoping to be taking bookings for these from March 2021 onwards.
Laundrette and drying room
For all our guests who love outdoor adventure, we're delighted to be able to bring you an on-site laundrette and drying room so you can be ready to hit the hills, day after day, with clean and dry gear. This new facility will be available to all guests for a small charge.
Bike wash
Our new bike wash facility will be available to guests and the general public from spring 2021 so you can have a clean bike as soon as you roll off the hills. Ideal for hotel guests to keep your bike in good condition when you stay with us, and for those who don't have an easy bike-washing solution at home.
